Comments: Unfortunatelly I was in Istanbul only for two days - next time I have to stay longer. I really liked the hotel very much, the rooms are very clean, everybody is very friendly and helps you (it was my first time in Istanbul). The hotel is only a few minutes of walking away from all the attractive places. You can eat your breakfast on the roof of the hotel and see Ayasofya... I will definitely recommend you!

Comments: A long overdue review of the excellent care and stay we had at Zeynep Sultan Hotel. My family and friends enjoyed our stay immensely. They have a great staff that speaks English, who are friendly and helpful and the location is very centralized. I loved our morning breakfast on the terrace. My mom was ill when we got to the hotel and the owner, Ibrahim even drove my parents to the hospital. You do not beat that kind of service and care! We definitely recommend this hotel!

Comments: More than a month since our visit to Istanbul and still we feel excited, enthousiastic and nostalgic about our experience in Istanbul. Part of this experience was Zeynep Sultan Hotel and its people. At first I can say that we chose the hotel for the location and the good reviews but when we arrived there, we discovered that this isn't an ordinary hotel. This hotel is for travellers who want to be in the center of the old city, a step from the museums and the monuments but mostly is a quiet, spotless, friendly place to relax and feel the city wthout the noise and the typolatry of the large hotels. Manager/owner Ibrahim is smilly, very friendly and very helpfull man and his advice about where to go and what to eat gave us another dimention to this amazing city, one that we could never discover in the six days of our stay. Ibrahim, Onur, Sultan, thanks for the lovely stay and we 'll certenly come again. Yiannis and Catriona.

Comments: We found this hotel to offer a magical springboard into a fasinating culture. The manager (Ibrahim) is very warm and friendly--combining the best of Turkish hospitality with "western" familiarity. My only concern is that this hotel is so good that it will become too popular, and I might find it difficult to find openings in the future.

Comments: The Zeynep Sultan is a gem. Clean, convenient, and affordale. But, what makes it unique is the outstanding staff, in particular, Abe who is the owner. Advice on bookings, sightseeing, local stories, personal experiences all flow from Abe at breakfast. He will walk you to your destination, draw maps, make phone calls, help you with shopping, you name it. He is proud of his country and his city and speaks impeccable English (25 years in LA). His front desk staff all speak English and will help you with anything. Even sending friends to help you with shopping. A small word of advice. Do not stay in room 104 it is too noisy. All in all an outstanding hotel and great weekend. Thank you Abe.

Comments: Hotel was clean and well run. No unpleasant surprises e.g. the price was exactly as quoted. Manager (Ibrahim) was very helpful and informative. When we were unable to get a taxi to airport bus collection point, he drove us in his own car and would not accept any payment. The 'deck' area restaraunt has a lovely outlook.

Comments: My husband and I just returned from Istanbul about 2 weeks ago, thinking about the week we spent at the manificent Istanbul, it was still dream-like. Not to mention about the mystic beauty of the historic city, we are most pleased with the hotel staff and service it provides. First of all, the hotel is conveniently located to some of the must-see attractions in Istanbul, all in walking distance. After all the convenience is something most tourist seek when traveling in a new place. Secondly, the hotel staff is genuinely warm and cordial. We felt at home from the date we arrived. Lastly, we loved the fabulous breakfast they provide. I can still smell the fresh Turkish coffee and the authentic honey from wild-flowers from Turkey's Mediterranean coast. The hotel owner, Abe is most knowledgeable about the city's attractions and he is most helpful in providing a daily plan for his visitors. The hotel is truely a home away from home, we would love to go back and stay there and explore more of the magnificent Istanbul in the near future.
